Vittoria Air-liner Light XC MTB tyre puncture protection foam

A puncture is one of the biggest fears for any mountain biker, whether they are competitors or recreational riders. Cross-country mountain bikers are constantly pushing the limits by rapidly alternating between climbs and technical descents, where they are exposed to the risk of punctures. To optimise their performance, XC riders seek to minimise the weight of their mountain bikes to ride faster on the physical sections. However, a great race can be ruined in a fraction of a second by a puncture!

This is where Vittoria Air Liner Light tubes come in, specifically designed for XC riding, weighing just 55 grams, or 110 grams per pair! This low weight is well worth it to avoid ruining a race or a ride with friends because of a puncture.
In addition to their reduced weight, the Air Liner Light inserts offer sufficient clearance at the tread level so that the tyre can flex properly. So, in practice, you won’t feel like you’re riding with inner tubes, grip and comfort are maintained whilst offering increased protection against punctures.
If you ever make a mistake on the track and a puncture is unavoidable, the Vittoria Air Liner Light foam insert will reduce the impact on the rim, keeping it in good condition. This foam insert will allow you to quickly reach the technical area or get home without the risk of the tyre coming off the rim and damaging it.

Please note that this Vittoria insert is only compatible with tubeless set-ups using tyres with a cross-section of 29x2.10” to 29x2.40” and with rims with an internal width of 25 to 30 mm.
