The cassette on the new Sram Eagle GX T-Type groupset works in harmony with the derailleur to keep as many teeth engaged by the chain as possible when changing gears. This ensures smooth gear changes even when you're pedalling hard.

The Narrow-Wide teeth also set this cassette apart from others. This refers to the alternating presence of a wide tooth and a narrow tooth on each of the sprockets (except for the one used to adjust the transmission) for better chain retention on the sprockets.

For efficient transmission even in difficult conditions, X-Dome technology provides excellent mud clearance. A new gear ratio is also available to reduce the workload on the chain and extend its service life.
