Shimano offers the Ultegra WH-R8170 wheels with a 50mm profile for a sporty and versatile ride. It may seem surprising to mention versatility for a 50mm profile height. The reason is simple: significant weight savings. Weighing just 1569g for the pair, these are high-end, low-profile aluminium wheels.
The Shimano Ultegra R8170 C50 wheels are lighter than the previous C40 model and almost as aerodynamic as the C60. The result is simply stunning. The ride feels great, whether on road races or mountain bike events.
Tubeless Ready compatible, the WH-R8170-C50-TL wheels are compatible with both tyres and tubeless set-ups when fitted with a UST insert.
