The Deore BB-MT501Shimano (part no. EBBMT501B) is a Hollowtech II bottom bracket designed for MTB, gravel and trekking bikes fitted with a BSA threaded frame. It ensures smooth rotation and excellent water resistance, guaranteeing efficient and long-lasting pedalling even in challenging conditions.
Part of the Shimano Deore range, it is designed to offer an excellent balance between performance, reliability and low maintenance, thanks in particular to its external bearings, which are optimised to withstand water, mud and dust.
Compatible with Shimano cranksets featuring a 24 mm axle (Hollowtech II), it fits frames with a width of 68 mm or 73 mm, making it a very common standard on modern mountain bikes.

Mountain bike versions such as the BB-MT501 prioritise waterproofing and durability, whilst road models are more focused on lightness and pure performance.
It is compatible with most Shimano Hollowtech II cranksets (24 mm axle), including Deore, Alivio, ZEE, etc.
