The Garmin Edge 1040 will also help you manage your effort by suggesting power targets throughout your ride.

To track your imported or device-generated routes and enjoy advanced navigation, you'll appreciate the easy-to-read, responsive 3.5-inch colour touchscreen. The ClimbPro feature automatically displays your route's ascent profile, percentages and distance to the summit. With a battery life of 35 hours in normal use, the Garmin Edge 1040 is perfect for long rides or multi-day trips. You can expect up to 70 hours of battery life in energy-saving mode. ANT+, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connections ensure that the computer is highly compatible with all types of sensors and smartphone models. At the rear, the quarter-turn mount has been reinforced with aluminium construction to ensure greater resistance, whether on the road or off-road.
