The RE:aktiv system with Thru Shaft featured on the Slash 9.7 works faster than a normal shock absorber, allowing the bike to stay glued to the ground for better control. The Mino Link system allows you to adjust the geometry to suit your riding style and preferences, so you can have fun on Enduro and All-Mountain trails.The Slash 9.7 features the new Knock Block, a removable system with a larger steering angle to protect cables and hoses without compromising the turning radius. The 34.9 mm diameter dropper seatpost is stronger, more durable and faster in its up and down movements. Trek has added a second guard to the down tube to better protect the frame from potential damage during transport or in the event of a crash.
