Trackap GPS tracker for Yamaha motors

In France, there are 400,000 bicycle thefts a year, with a recovery rate of 1 per cent. Bicycle identification has been compulsory since 1 January 2021, and an even more effective solution is available with the tracker Trackap. The device acts as a tracking beacon that connects directly to the 2G network and GPS. You can track the precise location of your electric bike.

This system plugs directly into your bike’s battery, inside the frame. As a result, its discreet nature and the fact that it is impossible to detect its presence make it a powerful tool for locating and identifying your bike. As soon as the bike is in motion, you’ll know about it. The Trackap app provides a history of your journeys and also tells you when maintenance is due.

It’s the security feature that you’ll really appreciate about this system. You can be alerted if your bike is moved. This means you can take immediate action. If the bike is stolen during the night, for example, you can activate the notification, which sends you a code that you can share with the police to help recover your bike.

The battery-free operating time is approximately 3 hours. But don’t worry – as soon as the bike starts moving again and the battery is recharged, you’ll receive a movement notification. This means you can be sure that, sooner or later, you’ll track down your bike.

Trackap carried out an anonymous theft test. Within 15 days, the bike was recovered with the help and support of the police.
