The Fulcrum Racing 5 DB wheels are aluminium wheels built on a solid foundation but updated to reflect the latest trends, such as the 20mm internal rim that perfectly matches the shape of 28mm tyres (minimum), and the low, asymmetrical profile that makes them agile, responsive and incredibly easy to ride.

Among the technical details, note the rim’s asymmetry, which is crucial for balancing the forces from the hubs, discs and cassette; but also the Anti-Rotation System: Fulcrum’s engineers started from scratch to design the spoke/hub interface, creating a coupling system capable of keeping the spokes in the same position at all times. This prevents the spokes on Fulcrum wheels from rotating, thereby avoiding a loss of tension.

The Racing 5 DB rim is a 2-way Fit Ready model. Initially designed to be fitted with tubetype tyres, it is nevertheless ready to be converted to a tubeless version, thereby offering all the benefits of this technology. An option that will be particularly appreciated for gravel or cyclo-cross use.
