Sram GX Eagle AXS 12-speed MTB rear derailleur

Having won over thousands of mountain bikers with its AXS XX1 and X01 groupsets, SRAM is now bringing its famous wireless electronic drivetrain to the GX groupset. Specific components have been added to the existing range (such as the crankset and brakes), so the set includes a shifter and a rear derailleur compatible with a 10/52 cassette. It’s worth noting that the derailleur is fitted with an impact protection feature called the Overload Clutch. There’s also a battery cover, in the form of an ultra-lightweight lid that protects the battery when it’s mounted on the derailleur. To keep the price down, the GX Eagle AXS derailleur hanger is made of steel rather than carbon, as on the XX1.

This new groupset will therefore enable you to build some great bikes, with reliable and robust components that are, above all, incredibly easy to fit. One of the major advantages of the AXS system is the ability to use any components from the SRAM AXS range (XX1, X01, etc.) as you wish.

As for the controls, the shift buttons are fully customisable. And, as always, you can configure your drivetrain via the AXS app. The AXS app lets you choose the functions, with three settings for upshifting, downshifting or controlling the Reverb AXS dropper seatpost.
