The Mavic Crossmax SL front wheel is renowned for delivering all-round performance to mountain bikers seeking excellent handling on the front end. Designed for cross-country mountain biking, it features a Maxtal aluminium rim, the alloy for which comes straight from Mavic’s ‘Made in France’ laboratories. The weight-to-strength ratio is impeccable, whilst the Fore system allows the rims to be drilled to secure the spokes without drilling through the rim bed, thus eliminating the need for a tubeless rim strip for a perfect seal. With 25 mm between the dropouts, you can ride with lower pressures for better grip. This wheel is recommended for tyres ranging from 29x2.10 to 29x2.40. As an added bonus, this rim features the Black Shield treatment, which protects it from impacts and scratches for intensive use in all conditions.
