The DMT WKR1 shoes are high-end cycling shoes designed specifically for autumn and winter wear. As well as withstanding cold temperatures, they are also built to cope with the rain.
With their double-layer construction, these shoes feature a 100% knitted inner bootie and an integrated outer shell.
Fully 3D-printed, the liner is seamless and uses a fabric combining thermal wool and polyester. The BOA closure system allows for effective adjustment.
The overshoe, meanwhile, features a DWR water-repellent and dirt-resistant treatment. This makes it both breathable and waterproof.
The outsole is made of nylon and fibreglass for optimal power transfer.

Published Nov 09, 2023 at 08:27 pmA fan of the DMT brand, I own 2 pairs of KR1 (1 orange + 1 white) and one pair of KR4 (black). I wanted to complete with a pair for Autumn/Winter for the rain in particular. Big disappointment after my 2nd outing punctuated by 1/2 hour of rain. Feet completely soaked. I had read a comment from a user wondering how water could get in as they seemed well sealed at first glance. I tested them in cold weather from 0° to 5° and they did the job (it was nonetheless at the limit). If we add the fact that they are difficult to put on (thankfully I take size 46 for a small size 45) it's a model and a purchase very disappointing for me. (Translated review)
