Campagnolo has just released its new Shamal Carbon, which features a new axle size. It now measures 33mm and the freehub body has changed. If you use a Shimano 9/10/11/12-speed drivetrain, this freehub body is the correct part. Very simple and quick to fit, it allows you to match your drivetrain to your Campagnolo wheels.

This 33mm axle size is available exclusively from the Shamal Carbon range.

Easy assembly (see last page of Campagnolo technical notice), just need a screwdriver, a 14mm wrench and a 17mm wrench. My original freehub had 19000km and was starting to show play. Upon disassembly, it was the external bearing of the freehub that had play. Easier to change everything than to change the bearings of the freehub. Minor downside: a bit expensive but Campagnolo quality. (Translated review)
