Kryptonite New York Noose 1213 130 cm bicycle lock

This bike lock is a real heavyweight. And that’s putting it mildly! The Kryptonite brand is the gold standard in bike locks and stands out for its virtually unbreakable products and the very high level of security they offer for your bike(s). With this New York Noose 1213 lock, the brand lives up to its reputation, as it boasts a security rating of 9/10!  This is thanks to its design featuring 12 mm hexagonal links made from 3t manganese steel. To say that this lock is robust is therefore an understatement, as its structure is very similar to that of boat mooring chains. Furthermore, this lock can be carried on your bike, as the frame is protected by a durable, protective nylon sleeve covering the entire chain. It can, however, be removed using a Velcro fastening.

The New York Noose 1213 Kryptonite uses 12 mm hexagonal links made from hardened manganese- 3T, designed to effectively resist bolt cutters and lever attacks. Its exclusive “Cinch Loop” system optimises the chain’s effective length by creating a particularly practical tightening loop around bulky anchor points. This technology offers virtually the same reach as a longer chain whilst minimising weight and bulk.

The lock comes with an Evolution Series 4 Disc Lock padlock featuring a 14 mm hardened steel shackle and a reinforced double-locking system designed to resist twisting and mechanical attacks. The high-security disc-type cylinder also benefits from highly effective anti-picking and anti-drilling protection.

Its reinforced nylon cover protects the bike’s frame and components from abrasion whilst making it more comfortable to carry.
