It has been designed for fitting on mountain bikes with 135 mm and 142 mm rear wheel spacing, offering a chainline of 48.8 mm. Its 26-36 chainring combination provides precise and reliable chainring shifting whilst offering a wide gear range for tackling all types of terrain.

The Shimano Deore FC-M4100-2 crankset features Shimano’s proprietary 2-piece design, which optimises weight and stiffness for efficient power transfer, as well as simplified installation and maintenance.
