With its low clamp mounting, the Shimano XT FD-M8100 front derailleur is compatible with all frames featuring a round seat tube. Its original diameter is 34.9 mm, but it can be fitted to frames with a smaller inner diameter using an adapter. It features a specific design to provide greater clearance at the rear tyre for 2.3-inch tyre sections fitted to wide rims. It offers smooth and precise operation for 36-26 tooth 12-speed cranksets. Its lateral pull system increases the pull range for a smooth feel when shifting gears.
