Notre avis

Denis M.

A former racer with a keen eye for equipment

The BlackBearing BB386 EVO 46x68-92 mm bottom bracket allows you to fit a Sram or Truvativ crankset with a DUB axle to a BB386 EVO standard frame. Available in a ceramic version, these bearings offer improved mechanical performance to optimise your bike’s operation: reduced weight, less friction, greater stiffness, and a longer service life.

This bottom bracket is designed with two machined aluminium cups that screw into one another for better alignment, reducing creaking, optimising smoothness and efficiency, extending the bearings’ lifespan, and making installation and removal easier.

Features

- DUB axle crankset (28.99 mm)
- BB386 EVO standard
- Frame width: 68 to 92 mm
- Frame diameter: 46 mm
- Aluminium cups
- BlackBearing bearing quality: C
- Ceramic bearings

This bottom bracket comes with an installation tool for use with a 1/2-inch square spindle wrench. You can also use the BlackBearing bike bottom bracket removal tool, which is essential.

Very smooth and easy to install crankset housing, however I recommend buying a second mounting tool as the one provided is not sufficient alone for proper tightening. (Translated review)
