Now available in a 12-speed version, the Campagnolo Chorus groupset features a new cassette available in 3 tooth configurations: 11-29, 11-32 and 11-34. While the first two are compatible with all Campagnolo 12-speed groupsets, the 11-34 version is only compatible with the Chorus 12v rear derailleur, which is the only one in the range that can work with a 34-tooth sprocket, giving the Chorus 12v groupset greater versatility with more accessible performance.

The six largest sprockets form two triplets machined from a single block for increased rigidity between the sprockets and more precise operation. The specific surface treatment guarantees a longer service life with improved fluidity.

Systematic start at 11 teeth, why not. However, an 11-27 gearing would be very appreciated. Furthermore, it should be noted that an additional sprocket (from 11 to 12 speeds) has inflated the price of the cassette by about 70-80 euros, which is exorbitant. (Translated review)

The switch to 12 teeth involves a significant price increase compared to 11v... However, the product is of good quality, I had never had Campagnolo before and the gearing on the cassette body seems more reliable over time. For me, the twelfth cog is worth it. You can have a wider gear range without sacrificing either the steps or the good functioning. It's a real plus that the freewheel remains the same as for 11v. The only downside is a fairly high price. (Translated review)
