The SMP Well Gel saddle is the big sister of the SMP Well. What sets it apart is the addition of a gel insert for even greater comfort. It is perfectly suited to cyclists who are sensitive to pressure on the perineum.

The SMP saddle is the benchmark in saddles made 100% in Italy. The SMP Well Gel is no exception to the rule, offering an advanced version. As its name suggests, a gel insert has been added to the surface of the product to give it different properties: it adapts more precisely to the shape of the perineum and reduces pressure points on the body by 30%. It offers remarkable technical performance and maximum comfort for cycling. With its open central channel, it also prevents crushing of the pelvic supports, and its '' eagle beak'' saddle nose '' provides additional support during the pedalling phase. The hollowed-out section at the rear of the saddle protects the coccyx from road irregularities.

In addition, the range of adjustment provided by the carriage is a real advantage in achieving the correct saddle position!

Beautiful manufacturing quality, original design and comfort is there. I had a bit of trouble finding the right adjustment, especially the tilt. The only downside is the weight which could be a dealbreaker for some. (Translated review)

I have an SMP Trek saddle on my gravel bike that I am delighted with and I did not hesitate on the saddle brand when purchasing my new road bike but this time took the Well ...... and there, after a few rides and 300 km of testing, I have pain in my rear after 50 km ..... disappointed and I think I will put back the gold saddle.
