4 arms, ever more rigid

Every new generation of Shimano drivetrain pushes the limits of performance even further, and this R8000 crankset is no exception: a new asymmetrical 4-spoke design with an enlarged but lighter crank, providing increased rigidity and saving a few extra watts!

Hollowtech and hollowglide

The weight/stiffness ratio of this new crankset is optimised thanks to the use of Hollowtech II technology, which makes it possible to design a hollow crankset, leaving only the material necessary for the strength and stiffness of the whole assembly!

The chainrings also benefit from Shimano Hollowglide technology to optimise weight and the transfer of power from the rider to the wheel!

The FC-R8000 crankset is compatible with all 11-speed and 10-speed drivetrains.
