Electric mountain bikes offer high torque, and the chain is the part that connects the drive wheel to the motor. The EX1 model is wider and more robust than a conventional chain.
Thanks to the optimised chain line of the Sram EX1 group, the chain is also more rigid, while offering smooth and quiet gear changes thanks to its rounded edges. The quality of the transmission is therefore maintained, and more power is transmitted from the motor to the rear wheel.
