Our advice

Bruno V.

Road specialist

The benefits of the oval chainring are now well established, whether on the road or on a mountain bike. This technology offers a significant increase in efficiency, as well as a reduction in lactic acid production. Pedalling is also smoother, and the top and bottom dead centres are passed through with ease.

Other benefits include a significant reduction in stress on the knee joints. Heart rate is also lower.

The Rotor QX2 in the outer position has a 96 mm bolt circle. It is only compatible with Shimano XTR 9020 four-arm MTB cranksets.

Technical specifications:

- 96 mm bolt circle diameter
- 36, 38 or 39 teeth
- 4-arm
- Double chainring
- External position
- Compatible with Shimano XTR 9020 cranksets

Compatible for mounting on XTR M9000 crankset. Mounted with a 24-tooth sprocket, changing the sprocket goes very well.
