The SM-BH90 Y8JA98020 olive and insert from Shimano is an original equipment connection kit designed for Shimano BH90 hydraulic hoses. Essential when shortening or replacing a brake hose, it ensures a perfectly leak-proof connection between the hose and the brake lever or caliper. This kit includes a compression ferrule and a barb, two single-use components recommended by Shimano for every service carried out on the hydraulic system.
Compatible with Shimano SM-BH90 hoses, this kit is used on many road, gravel and MTB brakes from the Deore, SLX, XT, XTR, GRX, 105, Ultegra and Dura-Ace ranges. The special BH90 insert ensures a secure seal and maintains optimum hydraulic pressure.
