The Ortlieb Thru Axle M6-Connector with 1.75 mm thread is a universal adapter designed to facilitate the installation of a luggage rack on a bike fitted with a thru-axle. It is the ideal solution for mounting a luggage rack such as the Ortlieb Quick-Rack when the frame lacks conventional mounting points.
Made from high-quality aluminium, this axle combines strength, lightness and durability to ensure a reliable attachment even during intensive use. The integrated M6 threads allow for easy attachment of a luggage rack or other compatible accessories.
Thanks to the spacers provided, it fits axles up to 180 mm, including lengths of 165 mm (tapered) and 168 mm to 180 mm. This adaptability means it can be fitted to many modern bikes, whether gravel, mountain or road bikes.
Compatible with several recent frame standards, including some fitted with the SRAM UDH system, this adapter axle offers a simple and effective solution to transform a sports bike into a versatile bike capable of carrying panniers and equipment.

It allows a luggage rack to be attached to a bike fitted with a thru-axle, particularly when the frame does not have mounting inserts.
It is designed to work perfectly with Ortlieb Quick-Rack luggage racks, but can also be used with other systems using M6 fixings.
The axle is compatible with lengths up to 180 mm, thanks to the included spacers for adjusting the fit.
The thread pitch must match the threading on your bike’s frame. It is therefore important to check compatibility before installation.
It can be fitted to road, gravel or mountain bikes equipped with a thru-axle, including certain SRAM UDH-compatible frames.
