Notre avis

The ideal cycling shorts for riding without restriction on hot days, offering excellent support without straps. The long version improves stability and comfort while maintaining great freedom of movement.

Designed for cyclists seeking maximum comfort on summer rides, the Assos UMA GT Half Shorts S11 Long are the ideal solution for everyday endurance cycling and indoor training when bib straps are unnecessary. Their extended leg length (+3 cm) improves stability, creates a sleeker silhouette and enhances muscle support without compromising freedom of movement.

The S11 generation marks a significant evolution with the introduction of QUARTZ fabric, a lighter, more durable and highly breathable warp-knit. Its structure ensures excellent thermal regulation, even in intense heat, whilst retaining a deep black colour that does not fade when stretched. A wide Sens AIR panel at the lower abdomen reduces pressure during intense pedalling positions, ensuring stable support without a feeling of compression.

The hipClick construction wraps around the waist to keep the shorts perfectly in place, whilst zeroPressure Waist technology offers a secure, soft and pinch-free fit, even during long rides. At the leg openings, the PILtec Plug-In finish ensures reliable and discreet grip thanks to an invisible microdot silicone treatment, effective on both dry and wet surfaces.

At the heart of the comfort lies the GT S11 pad, featuring the Shock-Absorb Damping System Mono12 (12 mm), designed to absorb vibrations and reduce fatigue over long distances. The perforated 3D Waffle foam improves air circulation and limits heat build-up, whilst the goldenGate 2.0 construction allows the pad to naturally follow pedalling movements, reducing friction and chafing.
