The Shimano Y0MV98010 lockring allows you to fit and tighten a Shimano 12-speed road bike cassette onto a Shimano-compatible freehub body. This model is from the Dura-Ace 12-speed range but is also compatible with 12-speed cassettes from the 105 and Ultegra series. As a result, the Y0MV98010 locking nut is only compatible with cassettes featuring an 11-tooth lead sprocket.
Tightening requires a tool suitable for the locking splines to achieve a torque of 40Nm.
