These blades allow you to adjust the tension of the new Look New Keo Blade pedals. The hardness selected depends on your profile and usage.Changing them is very simple.

4 hardnesses are available:

- hardness 8: standard (cycle touring, competitive cycling)
- hardness 12: firmer engagement, slightly harder to release (competitive cycling and regular practice)
- Hardness 16: firm engagement, fairly difficult to release (competitor)
- Hardness 20: very firm engagement, release requires a perfect and powerful movement (track, sprinter)

- Sold in pairs with axles and rear stops (see photo), only compatible with Look New Keo Blade and Blade after 2020.

Complete and fast service, blades received faster than announced. Their installation is easy (Look tutorial on the net easy to find and interesting). Personally, I prefer the tension of 8 compared to that of 12; the difference is noticeable and no unexpected unclipping issues. The only complaint I can make concerns the 'look' policy which offers no possibility of choosing tension based on the model of pedals sold.... a bit like the color of their bike, dependent on the equipment: Shimano, SRAM, etc......
