Pride now presents the brand new Apex fork.
After many months of in-depth research and development, including tests in the laboratory and on World Cup tracks, the APEX Carbon Tapered fork has been specially designed to meet the expectations of the most demanding athletes. Its effectiveness has been rigorously confirmed by Jeremy Rencurel over several months of intensive use.
Its innovative design offers superior rigidity for unrivalled responsiveness on the track. Every curve and angle of the APEX is designed to reduce drag, optimise stiffness and maximise speed. The unique design of the APEX aims to optimise structural rigidity. Selected materials and specific geometry work together to ensure efficient transmission of the rider's energy.
The internal construction of the APEX Carbon Tapered fork is specific and optimised to offer significant strength. It also uses different types of carbon fibre based on their specific properties to best manage different types of loads in the areas where they occur - such as lateral loads, torsion and impacts. The pivot is made from 7075-T6 aluminium, an alloy renowned for its high strength. This feature guarantees not only great structural strength, but also increased durability.
