The Favero Assioma Pro MX-1 can be easily installed in a few minutes by following the instructions in the "Favero Assioma" application. There are many advantages to a pair of power meter pedals compared to a power meter in the bottom bracket: they can be quickly moved from one bike to another, they are rechargeable, ultra-light (only 383 grams per pair!), durable and easy to maintain with kits sold separately. They are also compatible with Shimano SPD-SH51 cleats, the most widely used cleat system in the world of mountain biking and gravel riding. Once installed and calibrated via the app, these pedals will automatically calibrate themselves each time you go out riding. Please note that recalibration via the app will be necessary if you remove the pedals to install them on another bike. With their ANT+ and Bluetooth connectivity, they are compatible with bike computers and smart watches, as well as connected apps such as Zwift, Bkool, Strava, etc. One of the major strengths of the Favero Assioma Pro MX-1 pedal pair is its incredible compactness and impact resistance. Perfectly integrated, the sensor is barely noticeable, making it look like a conventional pedal. The weight is also impressive, at only 383 grams (191 grams per unit), making them the lightest on the market. By way of comparison, the high-end Shimano XTR pedals (without power sensor) weigh in at 310 grams. As you can see, you only need to add 70 grams to benefit from power analysis with unprecedented accuracy! These pedals will give you a range of useful information to help you improve. Power, cadence, PCO (platform centre offset), PP (power phase), TE (torque efficiency), PS (pedalling smoothness), RP (sitting/standing time).Designed and engineered for off-road use, Favero Assioma Pro MX-1 power meter pedals are perfectly suited to the challenges of the trail. Whether it's impacts from rocks or a collision with a root, these pedals are ultra-strong with their 6061-T6 aluminium body. The fastening system offers a level of strength never before seen on a power meter pedal. What's more, with a rechargeable battery built into the axle, you can forget about the battery failures that can occur with replaceable battery sensors. This completely sealed system provides flawless waterproofing even in wet and muddy conditions. These pedals are IP67 certified, meaning they are completely dustproof and protected against immersion in water for 30 minutes at a depth of up to 1 metre, so you can ride in all weathers! In terms of battery life, you get over 60 hours of use before you need to recharge them. Charging is very simple, using a USB cable with a magnetic head that connects to the pedals, preventing any connection problems. Finally, it should be noted that these pedals are "Made in Italy" and that each product is tested before being put on the market, ensuring exceptional reliability! These pedals have been tested and approved by our colleagues at Materiel-velo.com. After several weeks of testing, we were truly impressed by the reliability, precision and ease of use of these pedals!
