Since its initial creation in 1996, it has undergone continuous improvements, and this new model from Mavic IO is no exception to the rule. It offers a high-quality alternative to the usual solid wheels found on the track. This version features a new elliptical, wider rim profile with five NACA-profile spokes for low air resistance. The wider rim improves the wheel's aerodynamics. The monobloc rim, made of 3K braided carbon fibre, also optimises power transfer by increasing the overall rigidity. Finally, Mavic has opted for its own QRM cartridge bearings. Reliable and durable, they reduce friction and increase the wheel's lifespan.
