Hutchinson Blackbird Tubetype road bike tyre

The Hutchinson Blackbird Racing Lab Tubetype is the latest model designed by the French brand Hutchinson. This top-of-the-range model is billed as the brand’s fastest, but it is also one of the best-performing tyres on the market in terms of puncture resistance and longevity.

Handmade in France, the Blackbird features Hutchinson’s new Mach Tread 3.0 compound. This compound delivers outstanding performance for cornering at full speed, whilst also offering low rolling resistance. It features different carcass constructions on the tread and the sidewalls. The sidewalls are constructed from 3x127tpi fabric, providing excellent grip and superior protection. The tread, meanwhile, is made from 2x127tpi fabric, ensuring performance in all conditions.

It features the new Swifteasy casing construction, which provides the tyre with optimal flex and flexibility to smooth out road imperfections, offering you enhanced comfort.
