Fizik Transiro Aeris LD Long Distance R3 135mm road and triathlon saddle

The Transiro Aeris LD R3 saddle, manufactured by Fizik, has been designed for long-distance racing. It is, of course, with this in mind that we can see the work put into this saddle is outstanding.

The saddle is split in two; the split nose is designed to improve support and balance by relieving pressure on your sit bones. All of this is also intended to improve the saddle’s comfort, making it pleasant even after long hours in an aerodynamic position.
Speaking a little more about comfort, we note that the padding is type 1. This means that the padding is thicker at the front than at the rear. This makes sense, given that in an aerodynamic position you will very often be leaning forward.
