The CR1632 3Volt battery is compatible with Shimano 12-speed road shifters from the 105 ST-R7170, Ultegra ST-R8170 and Dura Ace ST-R9270 ranges.
¤As Di2 components communicate wirelessly via Bluetooth, each Shimano handlebar requires a power supply. The CR1632 battery is housed inside the handlebar body. Access is gained by lifting the rubber palm rest and unscrewing a cover using a Phillips screwdriver. The battery life of Shimano Di2 12v batteries varies depending on usage, weather conditions and the average number of gear changes per ride. However, the average lifespan is estimated at 12 months.
