Fizik Powerstrap Aeroweave 2026 Road Cycling Shoes

The Fizik Powerstrap Aerowave are high-end shoes designed for road racing. Some riders on the Movistar Team use this model. They are the lightest and most breathable pair in Fizik’s performance range.

The material used to construct the shoe’s upper is Aerowave, exclusive to the Fizik brand. It is a lightweight nylon fibre fabric with thermoplastic polymer filaments designed to reduce the shoe’s weight whilst increasing its overall ventilation. It is certainly very breathable but is nonetheless just as durable.

You’ll find a Velcro fastening; the strap wraps around your foot, ensuring a secure fit and good support. You’ll be able to adjust the fit separately across the midfoot and the instep.

Finally, as this is a pair of running shoes, we naturally have a high-quality carbon sole. The R2 sole has a stiffness rating of 10/12, increasing the shoe’s responsiveness without compromising comfort. To ensure ventilation, the shoe features a wide air intake and deep internal channels to allow air to circulate.
