The Zipp 1Zero HiTop S are top-of-the-range 29-inch wheels designed for cross-country and down-country mountain biking. These wheels stand out from the competition by offering an incredible balance between lateral stiffness and vertical compliance. In practice, the Zipp 1Zero HiTop S will allow you to be efficient on accelerations and on physical sections whilst offering excellent shock absorption. You’ll be able to tackle technical sections littered with stones and roots with confidence thanks to the carbon rims with an internal width of 30 mm, which will help smooth out the various obstacles encountered. These characteristics are made possible by the low rim height, just 21.2 mm, which optimises the vertical compliance and precision of these wheels on winding and rough trails. To make the most of these benefits, we recommend a tubeless-ready setup with tyres ranging from 2.30 to 2.40 in width, depending on the planned ride. This setup will also significantly reduce the risk of punctures.

The rear wheel is fitted witha 52-point engagement freehub, which offers rapid pedalling response when exiting corners.
The Zipp 1Zero HiTop S features the same UD carbon rim as the higher-end 1Zero HiTop SW model; the difference lies in the hub design. Furthermore, the 1Zero HiTop SW comes with the TyreWiz 2.0 pressure sensor as standard, whereas this sensor is only available as an option on the Zipp 1Zero HiTop S.
