The 30-metre roll of Shimano SM-BH90 disc brake hose is designed for replacing and maintaining hydraulic lines on bikes fitted with compatible disc brakes. Supplied in a workshop-sized roll, it provides a substantial length of hose to carry out multiple jobs, without having to buy a separate hose for each bike.
Designed for compatible Shimano hydraulic braking systems, this black hose is characterised by its high rigidity, a key advantage for mechanics and workshops seeking a hose suited to the demands of hydraulic braking. Its length can be adjusted to suit the fitment, ensuring a neat installation that is tailored to the bike’s geometry.
Measuring 30 metres in length, the Shimano SM-BH90 hose is an ideal choice for cycling professionals, repair workshops and users who regularly maintain several bikes.
It comes in a dispenser box, making it easy to store and cut to the required length. This packaging is particularly useful for routine maintenance, replacing a damaged hose or servicing a compatible hydraulic braking system.
The SM-BH90 hose is designed to convey hydraulic fluid between the brake lever and the caliper. It thus contributes to the proper functioning of the braking system by transmitting the pressure generated when the lever is actuated.
Its high rigidity is an important factor for set-ups requiring a hose capable of withstanding the pressures of hydraulic braking. To ensure safe operation, it is essential to check that the hose is compatible with the exact model of Shimano brake fitted to the bike.
This product is specifically designed for road bike and mountain bike applications, subject to compatibility with the relevant system.
The Shimano SM-BH90 ISMBH90BOX01 hose is a suitable choice for the maintenance of hydraulic disc brakes, provided that the fitting instructions are followed and the braking system is compatible.

Important: the 30-metre box contains the hose. Fittings, connectors and other fitting accessories are not included.
Before replacing a brake hose, check that the system uses an SM-BH90 type hose. Not all Shimano hoses are interchangeable: the type of fitting, insert and hose end must correspond precisely to the relevant brake model.
The cut must be perfectly perpendicular to the length of the hose to ensure a correct connection. Used connection components must not be reused wh Shimano specifies that they should be replaced.
After installation, the system must be bled in accordance with the manufacturer’s procedure, then checked to ensure there are no leaks and that the brakes are functioning correctly. Use only the brake fluid specified for the system in question. For Shimano brakes designed for mineral oil, do not use DOT brake fluid.
