The new Shimano XC7 MTB shoes certainly have a sporty look. Beyond their design, they aim to be as high-performance as they are comfortable. The Shimano Ultread XC outsole ensures excellent grip, with cleats made from a durable dual-material. The upper has been developed to wrap the foot perfectly, thereby reducing the risk of overheating. Fastening is provided by two durable and precise BOA L6 micrometric dials. An excellent value-for-money choice for mountain biking.

Used in cyclo-cross. Very comfortable shoes. Rigid sole but allows running without discomfort. Very good grip of the sole. 2 BOA for very precise tightening. Perfect, nothing to complain about. Size guide respected and no surprises. (Translated review)

I wear size 42.5 or even 43, I ordered them in 44, I really did well! Perfect size (thanks to MV's customer service which is really great). Very good power transfer, rigid sole as needed, lightweight and beautiful (got them in red, top class). The closures are very precise, the studs very effective and above all very discreet. I recommend these Shimano shoes. Plus they are solid. (Translated review)

I was looking for new shoes with a BOA tightening and I finally decided on this model. And I must say I absolutely do not regret my choice, the adjustment by the two BOA is perfect for having a shoe that fits the shape of the foot and thus having optimum performance. After a few kilometers, you completely forget about them. However, be careful with the choice of sizes, I did a bit like what is recommended by others and took one size up from my usual size. For a foot of 25.4 cm ideally size 40, I opted for size 41 and in the end there is enough room to wear a pair of thick socks in winter. I could have even taken size 40 and it wouldn't have been a problem. (Translated review)
