This spacer is placed in front of the freewheel body on Fulcrum disc hubs and is essential for preventing lateral play. If, after dismantling/cleaning your Fulcrum hub, there is slight play in the freewheel body, this spacer is either missing or damaged.See the attached image showing the different hub configurations where this spacer is used.
