Braking on electric bikes has to address different issues than on muscle-powered bikes, namely a need for greater power and high heat dissipation. This is where Magura's eSTOP models are different. They are based on the same technologies that have made MT brakes so powerful. The brake lever has been made lighter with aluminium. They can be activated with two fingers and adjusted using a Torx key. The result is a reliable and safe brake for city or mountain biking.
