The Assos Mille GTS GTO short cycling bib shorts are simply an evolution of the famous Cento (and Campionissimo) models, featuring an exclusive fabric and a new chamois. The comfort fit strikes the perfect balance between muscle support and a snug fit. The Rollbar strap system ensures the bib shorts stay securely in place in all conditions.

The Ossidia fabric is an Assos innovation, providing both comfort and tailored muscle support. On the front of the shorts is Losanga fabric, a specific section designed to reduce chafing and wick away sweat. Comfort has also been improved in the chamois. This is now triple-layered and still features GoldenGate technology. The pad settles into place naturally and moves with the cyclist. This significantly reduces the risk of chafing; it really is a personalised fit for the pad.

On the GTO, it is really the pad that makes the difference. It has a density of 21mm, which absorbs micro-vibrations. As the pad’s density is very high, air circulates easily to prevent moisture build-up. This same density softens as soon as you sit down, ensuring you maintain excellent comfort over all the long distances you’ll be covering.

To ensure a secure fit on the thighs, the shorts feature SkinGrip technology, a lightweight silicone treatment that applies no unnecessary pressure.

I tend to say that cheap costs dear... So yes, 320€ for a pair of shorts is clearly not cheap, but this product is above the rest. The cushioning is exceptional and the quality of manufacturing is too. To see on the duration but I have already read here and there that the durability is exceptional.
