Did you know it takes its name from the iron-tipped spear used by the Zulu people of South Africa, a fitting name for a tyre ready to battle on the mountain.

The Maxxis Assegai features tall knobs designed to find traction in dust and loose soil. This design gives it remarkable versatility, with support and confidence over roots and wet rocks. Its narrow side knobs ensure secure grip in all conditions. The Assegai is available here in the Wide Trail (WT) version, which features a casing optimised for rims with an internal width of 30–35 mm.

The Assegai features Tubeless Ready technology, a real bonus in terms of performance and grip, allowing you to ride at lower pressures. The Exo protection integrated into the tyre’s sidewalls ensures greater reliability against punctures and tears on demanding trails.
