Maxxis Minion DHR II Exo Tubeless Ready 27.5-inch MTB tyre

The new version of the Maxxis Minion DHRII has undergone a number of modifications that have improved cornering, braking and acceleration, amongst other things. It is worth noting that the side knobs have been modelled on the legendary Minion DHF, a front-wheel-specific tyre whose lateral grip is well established. Its side knobs have been oversized and adapted to withstand the specific stresses placed on a rear tyre. The centre tread pattern of the Minion DHR II is smoother-rolling and slightly more aggressive to improve traction, without compromising braking performance.

Maxxis recommends the DHR II for rear-wheel use; it pairs perfectly with the DHF model at the front. This version features an Exo Protection layer on the sidewalls, making the tyre highly resistant to tears, punctures and abrasion.

It is strongly recommended to add a dose of anti-puncture sealant to Tubeless Ready tyres; this helps minimise punctures and ensures the tyre is fully sealed.
