The Minion DHF is a tyre specially designed for front wheel mounting. Maxxis recommends pairing it with the DHR for the rear wheel, an ideal tyre combination for serious riding! Here it is offered with EXO reinforcement and triple compound rubber for optimal grip.

With the 29-inch Minion DHF tyre, Maxxis has developed a product specifically designed to meet the demands of the front wheel on Enduro mountain bikes. In terms of performance, it performs perfectly on both dry and wet terrain thanks to its specific 3C Maxx Terra compound. A medium-hardness compound offering more grip than the 3C Maxx Speed but lower rolling resistance than the 3C Maxx Grip. The 3C Maxx Terra excels in both Enduro and All Mountain riding. The hardness levels of this triple-compound mix are 70a on the base and sidewall, 50a on the tread, and 42a on the side knobs.
The performance of this grip is the result of Maxxis’s expertise. The tyre also features an Exo Protection reinforcement layer on the sidewalls, which provides remarkable strength to the 60 TPI casing. This tyre pairs perfectly with its rear counterpart, the DHR.

Fast delivery. Replacing the same tire, as it is perfect. 6000 km on the front of a Cannondale Motterra in all mountain! (Translated review)
replace my current unavailable watch in customer service. The whole is homogeneous and has a good grip especially with particularly wet terrains lately. Good sensations, a bit more energy-consuming than the previous model but very secure. (Translated review)
Mounted as a replacement for a Maxxis Rekon on e-mtb, very good grip in curves. (Translated review)
