The SRAM X-Sync Apex 1 asymmetrical chainring incorporates X-Sync technology. This technology features longer teeth, alternating between a wide, cross-shaped tooth and a thinner, flatter tooth. This unique feature provides excellent chain retention on the chainring, preventing chain jumps and offering enough space for self-cleaning in the event of mud build-up, for example when used in cyclo-cross.
The patented X-Sync chainring technology ensures unrivalled chain management within the complete Sram x1 single chainring groupset. Its star-shaped structure with 4 asymmetrical arms (BCD 110mm) optimises the stiffness/weight ratio.lt;br />
