The Shimano M4100 front brake features the Shimano M4100 brake lever, which offers faster pad engagement, and the BR-MT420 4-piston caliper. The progressive and powerful braking of this hydraulic disc brake is suitable for trail mountain bikes and electric bikes. The longer lever provides a reassuring grip for better control of braking power.
Thanks to the I-Spec EV-compatible mounting collar, it is possible to combine the brake lever with Shimano I-Spec-EV derailleur and dropper seatpost controls. For more reliable braking, the brake has an additional contact point on the handlebar to improve rigidity, especially when significant pressure is applied to the lever.
