Shimano XTR M9120 front MTB disc brake without disc
Enduro - 4 pistons
Shimano XTR brakes now have an enduro version with the M9120 and its 4-piston caliper. The lever is also slightly different, with a reach adjustment dial for optimal customisation. To transfer all the necessary braking power from the lever to the caliper, Shimano has equipped the brake with a 10% stiffer hose. The 4-piston vented pads promote heat dissipation for more consistent braking performance.
During repeated braking, the lever returns to its initial position more quickly for a consistent feel. Shimano has designed the XTR M9120 for faster pad engagement during braking.
