Shimano Deore FC-M6120-1 Boost single chainring 12-speed MTB crankset

The Shimano Deore M6120-1 crankset has been developed for 12-speed single chainring drivetrains. To guarantee optimal performance, it features a specific tooth profile developed by the Japanese brand: Dynamic Chain Engagement+, which alternates between a thin tooth and a wider tooth to ensure chain retention on the chainring, eliminating chain jumps and derailments. You will find the model that meets your needs thanks to its two crank lengths (170 or 175 mm) and the different 30 or 32 tooth options available. Constructed in two pieces with the right crank and axle in one piece and the left crank independent, this specific design results in a lighter and more rigid assembly for more efficient transmission of pedalling forces. Assembly is extremely simple, as is maintenance. This FC-M6120-1 version offers a 178 mm Q-Factor for optimal compatibility with Boost 148 mm centre-to-centre frames for a 55 mm chainline. Originally available with a 30 or 32 tooth Deore chainring, the SLX, XT and XTR 12-speed direct mount chainrings are also compatible with the Deore crankset, giving you a wider choice of gearing.
