If you have an Elite home trainer where the wheel rests on the roller, you need to use a specific quick release. But it gets complicated when you're on the new generation of frames that use disc brakes. Elite therefore offers this specific clamp that fits a 10 to 12 mm axle and a length of 135 to 150 mm. It is then used like a conventional quick release.

With the advent of bikes with disc brakes, this is the essential part to continue pedaling indoors. Of a formidable simplicity and easily set up (on a Giant TCR Advanced PRO and on ORBEA Terra, two bikes with different axle widths), I can continue to use my Elite Qubo, but this will be valid for any other classic HT that only accepts bikes with standard quick releases.
