It changes the pedaling position, bringing the usual discomfort of descents for example, aiming to work muscle groups that do not work horizontally (arms-back in descent). Also valid for long climbs. I purchased this slope simulator at the same time as the Wahoo Kickr Power Trainer and although it is not an essential element for using the Home Trainer, it is clearly a plus! After a week of use and combined with the Zwift app, I greatly appreciate the position that is as realistic as possible on the bike. Indeed, the incline varies automatically based on the elevation and this enhances each HT session and makes them, I think, less monotonous. You can also manually adjust the incline via the remote control, practical for the 'non-connected'. The whole setup is responsive and the incline is realistic. Same as for the HT of the same brand, it's a shame that you have to plug/unplug the device's power supply at the start/end of each session.
