Our advice

Antoine B.

Technology specialist

A modern carbon rim has a minimum external width of 24 to 25mm. When the brake pads are new, this poses a problem because even when the caliper is fully open, the wheel may come into contact with the brake pad. With SwissStop Flash Evo Black Prince brake pads, you can be sure of a hassle-free installation, even on a standard Direct Mount caliper. This rubber compound, specifically designed for carbon rims, provides remarkable stopping power in both dry and wet conditions. Combined with a Direct caliper, it is incredibly effective. What's more, SwissStop is the leader in brake pads, so you can brake with your eyes closed!

For stock! I use them in black or yellow rubber for my carbon rim brakes! Nothing to report, except in the wet, where carbon rims are not the best for braking!

Good pads for carbon rims, excellent braking even when wet, but wears out quite quickly especially at the front.

Fast delivery, correct price. And the pads are very effective. The best for me. However, with the rare even wheels, quick wear but who cares.
