Focus 142mmx12mm R.A.T. rear thru axle 361000700

Bikes equipped with disc brakes require a reliable and rigid wheel lock for optimal clamping. This is precisely why FOCUS engineers developed the exclusive Rapid Axle Technology (R.A.T.), the world's fastest wheel lock. Disc brake calipers require rigidity and stability from the wheel hub in order to function optimally. Despite this vital requirement, no system met Focus engineers' demands for quick wheel changes. That's why the German brand Focus developed its own patented Rapid Axle Technology (R.A.T.) for mountain bikes and disc-equipped road and cyclocross bikes. When developing the R.A.T. wheel axle, the criteria were simple: to guarantee lightning-fast wheel changes. The result: Rapid Axle Technology combines the stability and rigidity of wheel clamping with the advantages of a conventional clamping lever. It is probably the fastest and easiest wheel change process available, easily rivalling standard quick-release mechanisms.Technical specifications: - Exclusive compatibility with Focus - Disc brakes- Rear axle
